教育目標 Course Target

本課程介紹與化工製程相關之主要設備設計之課題,以期同學瞭解各類製程設備之特色、選擇準則、與設計原理,課程目標乃在提升大四同學運用化工專業核心知識的能力,來培養解決實際工程問題的能力,從而提升同學畢業後進入職場的就業能力。 Course Contents: Fundamental Concepts of Chemical Process Design; Process Equipment for Fluid Transport- Pump/Compressor Selection and Sizing; Design of Heat Exchange Equipment; Heating & Cooling Media Selection; Design of Heat Exchange Equipment- Selection Criteria and Equipment Design; Degrees-of-Freedom Analysis; Selection of Design Variables; Design of Mass Transfer Equipment- Selection Criteria; Design of Mass Transfer Equipment - Short-Cut Design; Mass Transfer Equipment- Equipment Design; Economic Evaluation on Chemical Projects; Gathering of Design-Related Data; Process Design & Simulation; Design of Chemical Reactors; Concept of Process Optimization.This course introduces the main equipment design topics related to chemical processes, in order to understand the characteristics, selection criteria, and design principles of various process equipment. The course goal is to improve the ability of senior students to use core knowledge of chemical industry and cultivate solutions The ability to actually engineering problems can improve the employment ability of classmates after graduation.
