This course takes Lin, a test test at Huachi, a forest test in central Taiwan, as the pre-class location. It lasts for ten days. The first half of the course is conducted at Donghai University and the work around the campus, and the second half is to go to Huachi, Living in for field surveys. An introduction to the diversity of movement, plants and humanities was planned during the course. The actual survey and data analysis of the diversity of phytoplankton, ferns, ductile plant groups, kennels, spiders, freshwater fish, two-climb, birds, and mammals can give students a preliminary understanding of the characteristics, climate conditions, animal and plant species and humanities related issues of Taiwan; and through the observation, operation and visit of the actual site, students can experience the investigation and analysis methods of biological diversity and the problems and destruction faced by the clean mountain environment.
At the same time, students are required to plan and implement personal small research plans during the course, and oral reports are made before the course is completed, and detailed written reports are made after the course is completed.
Through the observation and operation of the local area, students have a preliminary understanding of the characteristics, climate conditions, animal and plant species, and the diversity of Asian hot spots, and through the local area, students have a further experience of the problems and destruction faced by Asian hot spots.
