Published in 1865, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its successor Through the Looking-Glass (1871) is a popular children's literature work, with the protagonist in the book Alice's fantasy experience, readers experience various strange and absurd emotions in their imagination, and the often-appeared words, double-choice, and text games make this book more exciting. In linguistic philosophy, we occasionally see philosophers citing Alice’s conversations with other characters in the book, such as Humpty Dumpty (Donnellan 1968; MacKay 1968; Davidson 1986). In fact, in addition to language philosophy and logic, they also provide material for philosophical stands or topics such as feminism, dreaminess and reality. This course is to explore some philosophical problems through these two books.
