城市是現代政治、社會、經濟之中心，是現代文化誕生之所在，同時也是培養文化人不斷創新之基地。臺灣城市的出現有其特殊的歷史背景，同時，隨政權之更迭與島內外情勢之演變，而出現相應的發展。這些城市興起過程，不僅顯示台灣現代化發展之脈絡，並對戰後臺灣各地區域發展發揮相當程度的影響。本課程採講授與討論並用之方式，講授以自編授課大綱為主，輔以重要參考文獻，並提出問題以進行課堂討論。教學評量為平日上課討論表現、平時作業、學期報告。Cities are the center of modern politics, society and economy, the place where modern culture is born, and at the same time they are also a base for cultivating cultural people to innovate continuously. The emergence of Taiwanese cities has its own special historical background. At the same time, corresponding developments emerged due to the changes in government and the evolution of internal and external situations in the island. The process of these cities not only shows the links of Taiwan's modernization development, but also has a considerable impact on the development of various regions in Taiwan after the war. This course uses teaching and discussion methods. The teaching mainly involves self-editing teaching, mainly focusing on important references, and asks questions for class discussion. The teaching evaluation is the presentation of the class, the daily work, and the academic report.
