Students taking Introduction to Western Literature 2 will reinforce and further their understanding of fiction, poetry, and drama -- genres that will be represented in approximately equal weight during the term. Selections may include stories and poems that are slightly longer and more challenging than those students encountered in Introduction to Literature 1. Students will also read a selection of full-length classical, Shakespearian, and modern drama. They will also be asked to present their analyses of the fiction, poetry, and drama studied during the semester.
