《西遊記》為明代中晚期家喻戶曉通俗小說，成書近五百年來，人們始終不斷受其影響，在每個人的成長歷程中，留下程度不一的影響。
本課程講授主要包含三個部分，首先是建立小說背景知識的「《西遊記》概論」；其次，透過「單元故事」的閱讀賞析，感受小說潛藏於字裡行間的人生智慧；最後，為能對小說特定角色有較多認識，故安排「小說人物分析」作為進階學習。
在課堂講授外，本課程期許提供較多參與空間，包括鼓勵口語表達，並透過「創意續作」激盪同學自由想像之創作能力。此外，本課程將著力介紹《西遊記》的各種表現形式，使同學深刻感受這部文學經典，如何在不同的時空背景下，依然保有其源源不絕的影響力。
"The Book of Western Travel" is a popular novel of the middle and late Ming Dynasty. In the past five hundred years, people have been constantly affected by it, leaving different degrees of influence in each person's growth process.
This course mainly contains three parts. First, it is the "Overview of "Western Travel Notes" that establishes the background knowledge of the novel; second, through the reading and analysis of "Single Story", feel the life wisdom hidden in the words; finally, in order to be able to use the novel to understand the novel; There are more understandings of specific characters, so "Novel Character Analysis" is arranged as advanced learning.
In addition to lectures in class, this course may provide more participation spaces, including encouraging oral expression and inspiring students to learn the creative ability of free imagination through "creative continuation". In addition, this course will focus on introducing various expression forms of "Western Travel Notes", so that students can deeply feel how this literary classic can still maintain its indefinite influence in different time and space contexts.
