中國文學史為中文系重要必修課程之一，也是認識中國文學發展的重要路徑。本課程共分為上、下兩學期，上學期研讀的歷史斷限從先秦至魏晉，下學期則以南朝文學、唐代文學為主軸，期望透過文學發展流變之說明與作品賞析，使同學得以一窺中國文學博美精深之堂奧。
在期中、期末考之外，為進一步強化同學對歷朝作品之認識，本課程將邀請同學前往圖書館檢閱原典，透過原典閱讀與心得書寫，當可與課本所學相互連結印證，從而熟悉文學作品之實際概況，並培養蒐檢文獻之基本能力。
Chinese literature history is one of the important compulsory courses in the Chinese department and is also an important way to recognize the development of Chinese literature.
