「戲劇賞析」是一門從文本、排練、演出到演後評論循序漸進引領學生認識劇場藝術的綜合性課程。劇本做為文類的一種，既可獨立成為文學作品閱讀欣賞，也同時是劇場演出的建築藍圖，儘管劇本的地位當代戲劇已然受到各種挑戰，然而就戲劇的發展脈絡來說，劇本的創作與論析，仍可視為理解劇場藝術的根本與基礎。因此，本課程將首先從劇本的角度切入，從寫實傳統到新文本創作的技巧，為初學者介紹戲劇如何成為一門說故事的技藝。而近代戲劇隨著劇場主體性的成形，「演出」再也無法只被視為文本的附庸，反藉由導表演和各種舞臺美術的設計讓戲劇成為一項總體藝術，因此，在課程的第二階段，將著意導領學生認識現代戲劇在舞台上的空間特性以及和文本間非單向的相互作用，養成學生有別於閱覽純文字作品時的藝術眼光。最後，則透過戲劇評論方法的學習與實際寫作，培養學生戲劇論述的能力，裨能與戲劇作品展開深層對話，達成觀、演、寫之間的雙向提升，累積人文藝術的實力與成果。

"Drama Appreciation" is a comprehensive course that gradually leads students to understand theater art from text, rehearsal, performance to post-performance comments. As a genre, scripts can be independently read and appreciated as literary works, and are also the architectural blueprint for theater performances. Although the status of scripts in contemporary drama has been subject to various challenges, in terms of the development of drama, the creation and analysis of scripts can still be regarded as the foundation and foundation for understanding theater art. Therefore, this course will first start from the perspective of script, from the realistic tradition to the techniques of new text creation, to introduce beginners to how drama can become a storytelling craft. With the formation of the subjectivity of theater in modern drama, "performance" can no longer be regarded as just an appendage to the text. Instead, drama has become an overall art through directing performances and the design of various stage arts. Therefore, in the second stage of the course, students will be guided to understand the spatial characteristics of modern drama on the stage and the non-unidirectional interaction with the text, so as to develop students' artistic vision that is different from that when reading pure text works. Finally, through the study of drama criticism methods and practical writing, students will develop their ability to expound on drama, so that they can have in-depth dialogue with drama works, achieve two-way improvement in viewing, acting, and writing, and accumulate the strength and achievements of humanities and arts.

本課程的設計，配合＜戲劇創作＞課程，以培訓編劇人才為目標。為了達成此目標，本課程內容涵蓋劇本分析、舞台表演（DVD）分析、專家演講三部分。除了課堂討論之外，學生必須提交劇本與舞台表演的分析報告。

劇本分析從選讀中外劇本著手，分析劇本各組成部分，包括角色塑造、情節結構、主題呈現等，教導學生掌握戲劇要素。劇本分析之後觀看該劇的舞台表演，探討劇本與舞台演出的相關性，避免學生編出不能上演的案頭劇。專家演講則借重專家的經驗和知識加強學生對戲劇的賞析能力。

This course is designed to coordinate with the "Drama Creation" course, with the goal of training screenwriting talents. In order to achieve this goal, this course covers three parts: script analysis, stage performance (DVD) analysis, and expert speeches. In addition to class discussions, students must submit an analysis of the script and stage performance.

Script analysis starts with reading Chinese and foreign scripts and analyzes each component of the script, including character creation, plot structure, theme presentation, etc., to teach students to master the elements of drama. After analyzing the script, watch the stage performance of the play to explore the correlation between the script and the stage performance to avoid students from writing desk plays that cannot be staged. Expert speeches draw on the experience and knowledge of experts to enhance students' ability to appreciate drama.
