教育目標 Course Target

這是一門理論課程。複合媒體的認知基礎來自於當代觀念藝術系統,根源於杜象及達達,企圖打破藝術與生活的界線;亦受到日本50年代具體群(Gutai group)事件的影響, 主要是指興起於1970年代的西方當代藝術類型,以裝置藝術(Installation art)為主。混用各種媒材及現成物(ready-made),直接使用展場空間, 創造感知和概念性的經驗,故涵蓋特定場域的藝術(Site-specific art)、地景藝術(Land Art)。使用的媒材包含了自然材料到新媒體, 如錄影、聲音、行為、電腦以及網路等。本課程需從概念藝術系統出發,講述當代複合媒體/裝置藝術的歷史,透過作品之介紹及討論, 讓學生了解當代複合媒體及裝置藝術之創作觀念及型態,作為當代藝術發展之獨特路徑;並使學生探討、思考媒體特性和與傳統美學的差異,以發展出創作或論述的潛力。 1認識複合材料的種類與表現性 2認式材質基本發展與演變 3空間運用實務概念本課程希望以藝術史與社會思潮演變的概述介紹,讓學生能對複合媒材的創作能夠有更徹底與理性的認識與運用媒材。This is a theoretical course. The cognitive basis of composite media comes from the contemporary conceptual art system, rooted in Duchamp and Dada, which attempts to break the boundaries between art and life; it is also influenced by the Gutai group incident in Japan in the 1950s. It mainly refers to the Western contemporary art type that emerged in the 1970s, mainly installation art. Mix various media and ready-made objects, and use the exhibition space directly. Create perceptual and conceptual experiences, so it covers site-specific art and Land Art. The media used range from natural materials to new media, Such as video, sound, behavior, computer and Internet, etc. This course starts from the conceptual art system and tells the history of contemporary composite media/installation art. Through the introduction and discussion of the works, Let students understand the creative concepts and forms of contemporary composite media and installation art, as a unique path for the development of contemporary art; enable students to explore and think about the characteristics of media and the differences with traditional aesthetics, so as to develop the potential for creation or discussion. 1Understand the types and performance of composite materials 2 Basic development and evolution of recognized materials 3 Practical Concepts of Space Utilization This course hopes to provide an overview of the history of art and the evolution of social trends of thought, so that students can have a more thorough and rational understanding of the creation of composite media and the use of media.

複合媒體的認知基礎來自於當代觀念藝術系統,使用的媒材包含了自然材料到新媒體,如錄影、聲音、行為、電腦以及網路等,而台灣的藝術演變也因為西方藝術多元表現的匯入及解嚴後有很大的變化。 透過作品之介紹及討論,讓學生了解當代複合媒體及裝置藝術之創作觀念及型態,作為當代藝術發展之獨特路徑;並使學生探討、思考媒體特性和與傳統美學的差異,以發展出創作或論述的潛力。
The cognitive foundation of composite media comes from the contemporary conceptual art system. The media used range from natural materials to new media, such as video, sound, performance, computers, and the Internet. The evolution of Taiwan's art is also due to the convergence of diverse expressions of Western art. After entering and lifting martial law, there were great changes. Through the introduction and discussion of works, students can understand the creative concepts and forms of contemporary composite media and installation art as a unique path for the development of contemporary art; students can also explore and think about the characteristics of media and the differences with traditional aesthetics to develop creative ideas. or discursive potential.
