掌握文本分析與視覺藝術作品分析之基本能力，能夠主動從跨領域文獻與藝術作品的交互比對中提析出具批判性之當代藝術思想史觀。Master the basic abilities of text analysis and visual art work analysis, and be able to actively analyze the critical historical view of contemporary art thought from the interactive comparison of cross-field documents and works of art.
本課程所討論的時間範圍主要從工業革命以後，由產業革命、資本主義的興起至資訊革命所引發的效應與現象之下，從十九世紀末至當代的相關藝術與作品、流派之議題探討。
The time range discussed in this course is mainly from the period after the Industrial Revolution, from the industrial revolution, the rise of capitalism to the effects and phenomena caused by the information revolution, and from the end of the 19th century to the contemporary period, related art, works, and genre issues.
