掌握文本分析與視覺藝術作品分析之基本能力，能夠主動從跨領域文獻與藝術作品的交互比對中提析出具批判性之當代藝術思想史觀。Master the basic ability of text analysis and visual art work analysis, and be able to actively analyze critical contemporary artistic thought history from the interactive comparison between cross-domain literature and artistic works.
本課程所討論的時間範圍主要從工業革命以後，由產業革命、資本主義的興起至資訊革命所引發的效應與現象之下，從十九世紀末至當代的相關藝術與作品、流派之議題探討。
The time range discussed in this course mainly comes from the industrial revolution, from the excitement of the industry revolution, capitalism, to the effect and phenomenon triggered by the information revolution, and explores the issues of related art, works and genres from the end of the 19th century to the contemporary era.
