在西方繪畫的發展中，油畫媒材的出現與運用打開了繪畫表現的多元特質。同時，也刺激了文藝復興時代之後的藝術家，能夠即時展現出個人的表現風格，以及創造工序的獨特性。

在此學期的課程安排之中，將以藝術技法的藝術簡史、經典畫作分析解說，以及實物觀察繪製的方式來引導修課學生能夠建構出個人的圖像世界，並同時掌握油畫媒材的特殊性質。如：調和用油比例、色料透明程度，以及不同質料的筆刷與肌理製造等繪畫課題。

In the development of Western painting, the emergence and use of oil painting media have opened up the diverse characteristics of painting expression. At the same time, it also stimulated artists after the rejuvenation era to show their personal expression styles and unique characteristics of the creation process.

During this course schedule, the course will be guided by art history, analysis and explanation of classical paintings, as well as physical observation and drawing to guide the students to build a personal image world, and at the same time master the particularity of oil painting media. For example: painting topics such as: adjustment of oil ratio, colorant transparency, and brushing and texture manufacturing of different materials.

解析油畫材質、技法在各個時期，面對不同的目的與條件，所呈現的樣貌及變遷；並透過課程單元的安排，共同討論發展與東海自然、人文環境及個人創作理念可結合、對話的油畫形式和內容。

Analyze the appearance and changes presented in oil painting materials and techniques for different purposes and conditions during each period; and through the arrangement of the course unit, we jointly discuss the oil painting forms and content that can be combined with Donghai nature, humanistic environment and personal creative concepts.
