學生透過課程了解產品設計與開發前、中、後之相關流程,其內容包含使用者研究、概念生成、外觀與介面設計、以及使用性測試等。並透過分組合作方式進行設計實務練習,以達到理論與實作並行,希冀此課程除了能整合學生基礎專業能力外,亦能達到產品設計概念實踐與企畫能力之訓練。Students learn about the relevant processes before, during and after product design and development through the course, which includes user research, concept generation, appearance and interface design, and usability testing, etc. Practical design exercises are carried out through group cooperation to achieve the parallelism of theory and practice. It is hoped that this course can not only integrate students' basic professional abilities, but also achieve the training of product design concept practice and planning abilities.
全球化(Globalization)的影響,產品設計開發也開始面臨更高的挑戰,創新設計與創新產業連結與規劃蔚為次世代競爭的條件之一。如何透過跨領域的創新結合與管理將是本課程主要教授的核心。從全球的產業趨勢的發展,未來在永續設計、人性化通用與高齡者相關設計規劃、綠色設計等,將是次世代設計者面臨的問題,而這些設計的思維必須具備跨領域的知識與創新的能力。本課程將對於上述的趨勢提出概述與討論,期待不同領域的專業學習者能產生交互學習的機制,培育跨時代的專業跨領域的專誒設計與管理的人才為要旨。
