■ 課程目標及內涵 (Course Objectives and Contents)
◤題目﹝一﹞ : 案例研究: 增改建練習
◤題旨:
建築空間操作訓練可以從最基本的生活面討論開始,同時不斷能隨時觀摩學習建築作品是設計能力養成的必要習慣,所以本練習將要求同學從案例本身的研究開始,不但操作討論生活與空間之關係,並且設計考量人體工學的空間細節,特別是處理新增空間與原設計之間的空間與形式關係。
◤題本:
以 Gwathmey Residence and Studio 案例為研究與設計對象,題目設定原案為增建之原始基本架構,同學必須選擇校園內一處適當的增建處所,其位置必須與校園內既有建物相鄰或有一定的緊密關係,重新置入相因應周邊涵構的新機能,嘗試設計能滿足新的整體需求之增建案,原則上不但原空間使用重新作調整,原周邊建築也可適度作局部修改以相互整合,而非以單純增建的方式:另不建議考量往上增建,期望同學都能選擇適當的增建方式創造一全新完整的使用格局,並且又能夠兼顧整體型態的協調性與美觀。
※設計步驟 :
一、Study 研究案例;繪製完整圖面與製作1/50模型。
二、選定增建位置並設定空間需求;同時應討論使用者之間的活動關係。
三、量體配置與高程介面處理;解決高程與各面向介面關係並以選定的活動機能作空間關係與動線檢討。
四、討論型體與空間關係;與原設計的基本型體搭配,考量建築量體關係和活動連結關係,適度調整形體與形式。
五、型式整合操作;主要以外部型式考量調整後再整合回內部空間關係。
六、內外關係與周遭環境塑造;內外空間細節處理。

◤Topic﹝I>: Case study: Addition and reconstruction practice
◤Title:
The operation training of the architecture space can start from the most basic life discussion, and constantly being able to view motorcycle architecture works at any time is a necessary habit of developing design capabilities. Therefore, this training will require students to start from the study of the case itself, not only to discuss life and space. The relationship is also designed to consider the details of human engineering, especially the relationship between the space and form between the new space and the original design.
◤Title:
Gwathmey Residence and Studio The case is a research and design object. The original case is the original basic structure for the addition. Students must choose a suitable addition site in the campus, and their location must be related to the existing buildings in the campus or have a certain close relationship. Insert new functions corresponding to the surrounding culvert and try to design additional projects that can meet new overall needs In principle, not only the original space is re-adjusted, but the original surrounding buildings can also be adapted appropriately for local modifications to integrate each other, rather than a single purview: it is not recommended to consider adding upwards, and it is expected that all students can choose appropriate additions. The construction method creates a new and complete usage pattern, and can also combine the coordination and beauty of the overall shape.
※Design step:
1. Study case; draw a complete picture and create a 1/50 model.
2. Choose a specific addition location and set space requirements; at the same time, discuss the activity relationship between users.
3. Measuring configuration and elevation interface processing; solving elevation and interface-oriented relationships and using selected activity functions for spatial relationships and line reviews.
4. Discuss the relationship between the type and the space; match with the basic type of the original design, consider the relationship between the building and the activity linkage, and adjust the body and form appropriately.
5. Type integration operation; mainly adjust it based on external types and then integrate it back to the internal space relationship.
6. Shape the internal and external relationships and the surrounding environment; handle the internal and external space in detail.

建築基本語言與工具的學習是學習建築的一關鍵性開始,本學期的設計課重點將放在循序漸進的介紹並操作建築設計中的各項基本元素與嘗試面對處理真實環境的各種基本問題,以加強訓練同學熟練建築語言與基本工具的操作。
