一、 平面操作;
二、 模型製作; 製作 1/50比例之模型;
三、 牆面操作;

Course Objectives and Contents
Topic:
Corner──Observation and exploration of space and place ﹝1 ~ 3﹞
Subject:
In the process of learning architecture, observation and exploration of the environment is a very important part and a critical beginning, because in the complex relationship between people and the environment, architects must play a role in intervening and being able to master and control the environment. . In order to effectively put forward appropriate attitudes and opinions, designers must first have keen observation skills and be able to quickly grasp all the characteristics of the base environment. They must also be good at using tools to make detailed analysis of the base they face. records, and then obtain a comprehensive understanding through appropriate discussions and operations, and then propose basic strategies for the base and environment.
This exercise will begin to require students to establish basic attitudes and views on environmental conditions, and at the same time train students to be proficient in the operation of basic tools.
Question Book ﹝1﹞: Corner Space
◤At this stage, students will be led to experience the observation environment and conduct complete recording and mapping.
※Operating steps:
1. Base selection; Through the process of independently visiting the campus environment, each person selects a specific location; (The selected location should not be repeated with others, and if there is partial overlap, it should only be between two people; after the selection decision, No change of location is allowed﹞
The main conditions for location selection are:
1. The base range is 25M x 25M.
2. Have strong enough corner space features or patterns.
3. The selection range must have both indoor and outdoor spaces, and the indoor and semi-outdoor areas account for ≧1/6 and ≦1/4 of the total area.
4. The floor within the scope should try to contain a variety of materials and height changes.
5. The location should have basic conditions or opportunities that make people want to stay and stay.
2. Production of observation records; will include various prescribed tools, methods and timeliness.
3. Basic drawing surveying and production; on-site surveying and mapping, drawing 1/50 of all standard drawings.
4. Comprehensive drawing application and performance; will display the observation record of the base.

Corner──Observation and exploration of space and place ﹝1 ~ 3﹞
Title Book ﹝Two﹞: Wall
◤This phase will begin with a discussion of physical space by adding walls, and will also include modeling exercises.
※Operating steps:
1. Plane operation;
1. First add a solid wall on the floor plan, that is, within the base, and try to analyze the impact of this wall on the space on the base.
(Only add one wall at a time as a rule).
2. Find the 10 most distinctive positions from various possibilities and differences, and analyze and compare their characteristics.
3. Select the three most representative walls and place them on the base, adding considerations of different heights (sections) for comparative explanation.
Key operational considerations:
Try to highlight or emphasize the spatial characteristics of the base through the intervention of walls.
Trying to use walls to redefine the new spatial form in the original base.
Trying to use walls to absolutely change the usage behavior of the base space.
Consider the different degrees of impact that different heights have on space.
2. Model making; making a 1/50 scale model;
And study the three most representative walls on the model
3. Wall operations;
Continuing the continuous development and discussion of the three previously selected walls, consider and operate various possible changes on the wall (including division, vertical and horizontal flipping, removal, etc.), and then compare the differences in the space before and after the changes. The key points are We should try to develop a more delicate level of spatial change and create places where people can rest and experience things.

Title Book ﹝3﹞: Personal Studio + Indoor and Outdoor Recreation Space Design
◤This exercise will be based on the final design of the previous stage to find a suitable base location and develop a personal studio and living and leisure space. In addition to reviewing ergonomics and functional usability, the relationship with the surrounding environment must be integrated. Create a shape that combines spatial quality and coordinated beauty.
Design scope limitation: Total area <50 meters square (indoor projected area).
Design content: Mainly based on personal studio, including some cabinets, small living room (also dining room) + refrigerator and small sink, half toilet, etc. The relevant space requirements and dimensions need to be customized, and outdoor/semi-outdoor rest The space also needs to be designed and integrated together.
※Operating steps:
1. Selection of location: The most suitable location on the site will be discussed based on the content attributes, and details of publicity and privacy in terms of visual and environmental appearance shall be discussed in particular.
2. Discussion of the relationship between usable space and the base environment; starting from the discussion of the relationship between usability and existing activities in the environment, we will then complete the distinction and definition of publicity/privacy at each level from the outside to the inside.
3. Space content and configuration planning; each person customizes the main characteristics and usage of its functions. In addition to taking into account its practicality and rationality, the space content must also meet the suitability of space scale and ergonomics. basic requirements.
4. Review and management of internal and external circulation routes: not only consider the efficiency of internal space use processes and circulation routes, but also pay attention to the space creation and experience of internal and external routes. The terrain and some ground objects can be appropriately changed to create the best comfort. living environment.
