總譜彈奏為指揮理解總譜的一種方式，彈奏總譜的過程中，訓練指揮對於樂曲的分析能力、配器的掌握性、風格詮釋能力以及聲音交響化的實際能力。依據學生演奏程度，給予適合其學習彈奏總譜之曲目。
