當代原住民族社會工作發展已呈現巨大變化,社會結構面向依循著80年代臺灣民主化運動、主體意識提升以及回應多元文化社會的態度和行動,創造了近十年來關於原住民族社會工作論述和實踐發展,從個人問題取向轉向至族群文化面向。在論述上呈現著文化能力、文化安全、文化轉譯、文化主權和歷史創傷等思考;在實際行動上則更關注原住民族世界觀和生活慣習,如何落實在社會福利服務介入模式之中。無論論述思考或實踐行動均面向一個共同的議題——環境和生態,一方面立基於原住民族生活體系中人與自然的不可分割性;二方面在權利觀點上逐漸從個人權利轉而重視集體權利,原住民族集體權利觀點亦強調文化和環境。因此,這門課程將自文化、環境與生態面向,探究社會工作介入的可能性,以及居間衍生的各種影響和衝擊,自論述層次思索行動,從行動實踐反饋觀點,期待在族群工作中觸及解殖的行動基礎和意義。The development of contemporary indigenous social work has shown great changes.
