教育目標 Course Target

理論在學習單元中,經常被視為無聊、抽象難懂的單元。學者Fine(2001)卻指稱沒有理論難以定義變項,也無法凝聚知識的價值。理論其實是引導實務的藍圖,沒了理論實務工作只能土法煉鋼、依憑直覺、經驗法則,見招拆招。缺乏變項定義將無法檢核評估實務運作的結果,自然難以凝聚知識。本課程旨在提供碩士班經由實務經驗中整理、回顧過去所用所學,期待藉此能為日後投身實務工作所需的知識理論及行動做好基礎準備。 社會工作始於對社會問題的關注,若依Francis J. Turner(2017)所著Social Work Treatment-Interlocking Theory Approaches一書計收錄38種理論。這些理論多少都受精神分析學派的影響,有的從精神分析學派再發展,或站在反對精神分析學派的立場;晚近後現代的理論則是受到福利資源的限制而新創,有的則是以更貼近社會真實的系統觀生態關來評量,處遇問題的發生。社會工作這門專業演化近100年來,多數助人理論是社會工作與其他助人專業共用的理論;僅有少數是社會工作獨門發展的例如心理暨社會學派,任務中心取向。每一種理論的發展都有其時代背景,對人性(問題)的假設,這些助人信念也牽動助人者的位置,助人關係等。 學生於本課程中除了應學習社會工作常用的助人理論,包括該理論的基本假設,理論建構與理論運作等,也應該由理論星圖中定位一個理論的定位,區辨期間的差異,更重要的助人工作者應該學習並反思,這些理論如何被應用與其對助人工作帶來的影響。 Theory is often regarded as a boring, abstract and difficult unit in study units. Scholar Fine (2001) pointed out that without theory, it is difficult to define variables and it is impossible to condense the value of knowledge. Theory is actually a blueprint that guides practice. Without theory, practical work can only be done by making steel in an indigenous way, relying on intuition, rules of thumb, and finding tricks as they go. The lack of variable definitions makes it impossible to check and evaluate the results of practical operations, and naturally it is difficult to condense knowledge. This course is designed to provide master's students with the opportunity to sort out and review what they have learned in the past through practical experience. It is expected that this will provide a basic preparation for the knowledge, theory and actions needed to engage in practical work in the future. Social work begins with concern for social issues. The book Social Work Treatment-Interlocking Theory Approaches by Francis J. Turner (2017) contains 38 theories. These theories are to some extent influenced by the psychoanalytic school, and some are developed from the psychoanalytic school, or stand against the psychoanalytic school; recent postmodern theories are newly created due to the limitations of welfare resources, and some are Evaluate and deal with the occurrence of problems with a system view and ecological relationship that is closer to the reality of society. In the past 100 years since the profession of social work has evolved, most of the helping theories are shared by social work and other helping professions; only a few have been developed uniquely by social work, such as the psychology and sociology school and task-centered orientation. The development of each theory has its own historical background and assumptions about human nature (problems). These helping beliefs also affect the position of the helper, the helping relationship, etc. In this course, students should not only learn the helping theory commonly used in social work, including the basic assumptions, theoretical construction and theoretical operation of the theory, but also locate the position of a theory in the theoretical star chart, distinguish the differences between periods, and more importantly Helping workers should learn and reflect on how these theories are applied and the impact they have on helping people.

本課程主要目標在於幫助碩士班同學對於社會工作理論與派別之哲學背景、理論內容、及實務運用,有整體性的瞭解及發展出對實務與理論的邏輯、批判的思考。
The main goal of this course is to help master's degree students gain an overall understanding of the philosophical background, theoretical content, and practical application of social work theories and factions, and to develop logical and critical thinking about practice and theory.
