課程以個體經濟學的理論為基礎,並以基礎的賽局理論為架構,探討廠商間的互動行為對產業的影響。課程著重學生策略性思考的訓練,培養學生對於各產業中廠商策略的分析能力,從而完成個案研究。課程講授將儘量配合產業現況及個案分析,使學生有能力將產業組織理論應用於實際議題。課程主要內容包含:廠商理論的簡介、產業結構指標的介紹及廠商進出的影響因素、賽局理論與寡占理論、廠商的勾結與訂價行為、垂直整合與分工、產品差異化、政府的政策管制。The course is based on the theory of individual economics and the basic competition theory as the framework to explore the impact of manufacturers' interactive behavior on the industry. The course focuses on the training of students' strategic thinking, cultivate students' analytical ability of manufacturers' strategies in various industries, and complete case research. The course lecture will cooperate with industry current situations and case analysis as much as possible, so that students can have the ability to apply industry organization theory to actual topics. 5. 理論與實務配合:本課程會以淺顯易懂的自編講義為主,每個理論討論後會配合個案討論;以達到理論與實務的配合。
6. 本課程以演繹法替代歸納法:演繹法是將某產業所具備的特性加以推演,在未來全球環境的變動下,應採取適當的策略以達勝出;強調的是未來的觀點。而一般管理論點,常使用歸納法,即過去的資料作統計,對未來不見得有實質助益。
7. 例如:2000年時,經濟學人雜誌曾經統計,購併的企業失敗率高達70%;然而,在2005∼2006年全球購併仍創新高,顯示歸納法不一定適用未來;而本課程會討論在什麼條件或特性下較適合採取購併。
8. 好的策略不但可以降低風險,還可以提高企業利潤。
