本課程的目標是讓同學熟稔常用到的資料庫理論並將其應用於實務上的資料庫設計和資料庫應用系統開發實作。本課成為研究所課程，內容包括複習資料庫概念和較進階的課題，例如實體關係模型（ER Model）、關係模型（Relational Model）、進階SQL查詢處理與NoSQL資料庫系統等。The goal of this course is to familiarize students with commonly used database theories and apply them to practical database design and database application system development and implementation. This course became a graduate course and included a review of database concepts and more advanced topics, such as entity-relationship model (ER Model), relational model (Relational Model), advanced SQL query processing and NoSQL database systems, etc.
