本課程將選擇性地介紹不同種類以及不同時期的古代文物，範圍涵蓋中國以及西方，內容包括瞭解重要的文物、文物所承載的歷史意義、以及其產生的環境和社會中的功能。課程也將學習文物本身的特性，包括其類別、材料、製作的工具、技術以及技巧。本課程希望能帶給同學古代文物的基本概念，以及文物與歷史的關係。文物鑑定將於下學期另一門課「古代文物研究文獻導讀」中討論，建議對文物鑑定有興趣的同學，先修習本門課程「古代文物史專題」。This course will selectively introduce ancient cultural relics of different types and periods, covering China and the West. The content includes understanding of important cultural relics, the historical significance carried by the cultural relics, as well as the environment in which they were produced and their functions in society. The course will also study the characteristics of the cultural relics themselves, including their categories, materials, tools, techniques and techniques of production. This course hopes to provide students with the basic concepts of ancient cultural relics and the relationship between cultural relics and history. Cultural relic appraisal will be discussed in another course "Introduction to Ancient Cultural Relics Research Documents" next semester. It is recommended that students who are interested in cultural relic appraisal first take this course "Special Topics in the History of Ancient Cultural Relics".
