本課程主要教學目標在建立學生對數位人文領域的基礎知識，並對歷史學數位資源有系統性的認識。課程以歷史學為核心，從勘考工具介紹開始，配合實務訓練，並於課程中導入數位人文工具，加強學生對數位人文工具的操作能力。課程將透過數位資源的介紹，協助學生認識各類型的數位文獻資料、學會如何善用數位資源與查找資料的方法，進而能有系統的整理、分析、呈現與利用數位資訊，達成養成自我學習與解決問題的能力。
因此本課程的教學目標有以下數點：
1.數位人文思維訓練
2.尋找、判斷及評估數位資料的技能
3.掌握數位資源工具
4.瞭解數位研究方法及其應用
The main teaching objectives of this course are to establish students' basic knowledge of the digital humanities field and to have systematic understanding of digital resources in history. The course is centered on history, starting with the introduction of survey tools, cooperating with practical training, and introducing digital humanistic tools in the course to enhance students' ability to operate digital humanistic tools. The course will help students understand various types of digital literature data through introduction of digital resources, learn how to make good use of digital resources and find data, and thus systematically organize, analyze, present and use digital information to achieve self-learning and Ability to solve problems.
