本課程以當代戲曲的創作、搬演以及整體發展與變化作為課程內容,期能透過劇本閱讀、劇場觀賞以及相關評論、研究論文的討論與分析,引領學生對於當代戲曲的創作情況有所理解,亦能進一步觀察這些討論對於傳統戲曲與當代劇場如何進行結合,以及新的審美標準如何建立與開展。藉由這些課程內容的安排,希望能培養學生鑑賞與評析當代戲曲的能力,一方面從古典戲曲史的知識基礎延伸至對於當代戲曲的發生狀況的理解,同時也能觀察到在現代劇場與西方思潮衝擊之下,當代戲曲所呈現的豐富樣貌以及各種跨領域與跨文化的對話。
This course takes the creation, performance, and overall development and changes of contemporary opera as the course content. It is expected to lead students to understand the creation situation of contemporary opera through script reading, theater viewing, and discussion and analysis of relevant reviews and research papers. We can further observe how these discussions combine traditional opera with contemporary theater, and how new aesthetic standards are established and developed. Through the arrangement of these course contents, we hope to cultivate students' ability to appreciate and analyze contemporary opera. On the one hand, it extends from the knowledge base of classical opera history to the understanding of the occurrence of contemporary opera. At the same time, we can also observe the relationship between modern theater and Western opera. Under the impact of ideological trends, contemporary opera has presented rich features and various cross-field and cross-cultural dialogues.
