「特殊教育」教育對象為特殊需求學生，依據學生身心特質與學習需求並結合家庭、醫療、社政等資源，給予適性教育及學習策略。本課程藉由認識臺灣特殊教育學生之類別、特質與學習需求，初步瞭解各類特殊學生身心特質、教育安置、學習策略及輔導等基本概念，並提供現今國內外特殊教育思潮與教學現場的實務經驗，俾使修課學生瞭解特殊教育現況、並關懷特殊需求學生。本課程目標在於協助學生瞭解特殊教育類別（身心障礙及資賦優異）、認識各類特殊需求學生特質在融合教育現場中的適應情況、教師可實施的輔導策略及因應策略。The target of "Special Education" education is students with special needs. Based on the students' physical and mental characteristics and learning needs, and in combination with family, medical, social and other resources, it provides suitable education and learning strategies. This course understands the types, characteristics and learning needs of Taiwanese special education students, and has a preliminary understanding of the basic concepts of physical and mental characteristics, educational placement, learning strategies and guidance of various special students, and provides the current and international special education trends and teaching experiences. Experience so that students can understand the current situation of special education and care about students with special needs. The purpose of this course is to help students understand the types of special education (physical and mental disabilities and qualities), identify the appropriate conditions of students with various special needs in the field of integrated education, and the guidance and causal strategies that teachers can implement.
