「特殊教育」教育對象為特殊需求學生,依據學生身心特質與學習需求並結合家庭、醫療、社政等資源,給予適性教育及學習策略。本課程藉由認識臺灣特殊教育學生之類別、特質與學習需求,初步瞭解各類特殊學生身心特質、教育安置、學習策略及輔導等基本概念,並提供現今國內外特殊教育思潮與教學現場的實務經驗,俾使修課學生瞭解特殊教育現況、並關懷特殊需求學生。本課程目標在於協助學生瞭解特殊教育類別(身心障礙及資賦優異)、認識各類特殊需求學生特質在融合教育現場中的適應情況、教師可實施的輔導策略及因應策略。"Special education" educates students with special needs. It provides appropriate education and learning strategies based on the students' physical and mental characteristics and learning needs, combined with family, medical, social and other resources. By understanding the types, characteristics and learning needs of special education students in Taiwan, this course provides a preliminary understanding of basic concepts such as the physical and mental characteristics, educational placement, learning strategies and counseling of various special education students. It also provides current domestic and foreign special education trends and practical teaching practices. Experience enables course students to understand the current situation of special education and care for students with special needs. The goal of this course is to help students understand the categories of special education (disabled and gifted), the adaptation of the characteristics of students with various special needs in integrated education, and the coaching strategies and coping strategies that teachers can implement.
