課程目標主要以「瞭解校園植栽、瞭解植栽生長環境，對於植栽常見之病蟲害進行判斷，以及植栽基本維護管理方式進行操作」等四個面向為主軸，並與目前國內外植栽管理趨勢相互結合，以此奠定學生之植栽永續環境基本素養。
Global environmental protection, starting from the campus that is closest to our own, plants have a great impact on the environment. Together, we will focus our duties around us. In addition to making the environment better, we will establish student focus and change the environmental consciousness pattern, and will no longer be the case. It's the concept that someone is responsible for doing it. Begin to establish the responsibility of maintaining the campus environment and ecologies.
The course objectives mainly focus on four main axes, including "understanding campus planting, understanding planting growth environment, judging common diseases and causal diseases and causal damages in planting, and operating basic maintenance management methods for planting", and are currently in the domestic explant management. Trends are combined with each other to lay the foundation for the basic cultivation of students' permanent environment.
