課程目標主要以「瞭解校園植栽、瞭解植栽生長環境，對於植栽常見之病蟲害進行判斷，以及植栽基本維護管理方式進行操作」等四個面向為主軸，並與目前國內外植栽管理趨勢相互結合，以此奠定學生之植栽永續環境基本素養。

The course aims mainly focus on four main axes, including "understanding campus planting, understanding planting and growing environment, judging common diseases and causal diseases and damages in planting, and operating basic maintenance and management methods for planting". It is also combined with the current domestic explant management trends, so as to lay the foundation for students' permanent cultivation of planting and planting.
