課程目標主要以「瞭解校園植栽、瞭解植栽生長環境，對於植栽常見之病蟲害進行判斷，以及植栽基本維護管理方式進行操作」等四個面向為主軸，並與目前國內外植栽管理趨勢相互結合，以此奠定學生之植栽永續環境基本素養。
Global environmental protection starts from the campus closest to us. Plants have a huge impact on the environment. Together we take care of the tasks around us. In addition to making the environment better, we also build students' concentration and change their environmental ideology. It is the concept that it is good if someone is responsible for doing it. Begin to establish responsibility for maintaining the campus environment and ecology.
The course objectives are mainly based on the four aspects of "understanding campus planting, understanding the planting environment, judging common plant diseases and insect pests, and operating basic planting maintenance and management methods", and are closely related to the current domestic and foreign planting management. Trends are combined with each other to lay the foundation for students’ basic literacy in planting and sustaining the environment.
