The power of reading classics" Most people of my generation still believe that reading is the most important means of shaping personality. When we were students, we were convinced that "classical knowledge" was the only way to defeat "experiential knowledge," so we kept reading classics in order to transcend the limitations of experience, to grow up, and to become strong. In other words, I hope to absorb nutrients through classics, transcend age, and become an "adult". Now, we still have a lot of? Reading classics, contrary to when I was a student, is not to grow up now, but to continue to test my knowledge and personality, and at the same time maintain my sense of the times. Classmates, let us read classics together, experience the times together, and test ourselves. Soon, you will know: the classics are an endless treasure house, the answers to all the questions of the times. 1. Understand the significance of classics and models 2. Get to know the thinker Tocqueville 3. Understand Europe, the United States and East Asia
