【課程內涵】
近年來，環保議題始終是備受關注的焦點。要處理環境問題，除了從自然科學的角度著手之外，社會科學亦是不容忽視的一環。自然環境與人類社會息息相關，環境問題對人類社會形成威脅；而人類社會中的政府、環保團體、國際組織、企業等行為者，為了因應環境問題，也發展出諸多應對措施。本課程從「環境政治學」的角度出發，以紀登斯(Anthony Giddens)的《氣候變遷政治學》(The Politics of Climate Change)一書為主軸，引領學生認識自然環境與人類社會之間的關係，從而培養「包容差異」、「思維融合」及「尊重自然」等能力。
本課程的內容分成四個主題：一，環境政治學的內涵與重要概念；二，環境主義、環境正義與聯合國永續發展目標；三，環境永續與人類社會（環境災害與文明、人類社會如何應對環境災害）；以及四，社會永續議題研析（全球暖化、企業與環境、有毒物質汙染、海洋漁業資源耗竭）。
【Connotation of course】
In recent years, environmental protection issues have always been the focus of attention. In order to deal with environmental problems, in addition to starting from the perspective of natural sciences, social science is also an environment that cannot be ignored. The natural environment is closely related to human society, and environmental problems pose a threat to human society; and in human society, those who act in government, environmental protection groups, international organizations, enterprises and other behaviors have also developed many appropriate measures to deal with environmental problems. This course starts from the perspective of "environmental politics", and takes Anthony Giddens's "The Politics of Climate Change" as the main theme, which leads students to understand the relationship between natural environment and human society, and cultivates abilities such as "inclusiveness, tolerance, integration of thinking, and "respect for nature".
The content of this course is divided into four topics: 1. The connotation and important concepts of environmental politics; 2. Environmentalism, environmental justice and the United Nations will continue to develop goals; 3. Environmental Continuity and Human Society (Environmental Disaster and Civilization, How Human Society Should Disaster Disaster); and 4. Social Continuity Analysis (Global Warming, Enterprise and Environment, Toxic Materials, and Marine Weather Resource Depletion).
