教育目標 Course Target

【課程內涵】 近年來,環保議題始終是備受關注的焦點。要處理環境問題,除了從自然科學的角度著手之外,社會科學亦是不容忽視的一環。自然環境與人類社會息息相關,環境問題對人類社會形成威脅;而人類社會中的政府、環保團體、國際組織、企業等行為者,為了因應環境問題,也發展出諸多應對措施。本課程從「環境政治學」的角度出發,以紀登斯(Anthony Giddens)的《氣候變遷政治學》(The Politics of Climate Change)一書為主軸,引領學生認識自然環境與人類社會之間的關係,從而培養「包容差異」、「思維融合」及「尊重自然」等能力。 本課程的內容分成四個主題:一,環境政治學的內涵與重要概念;二,環境主義、環境正義與聯合國永續發展目標;三,環境永續與人類社會(環境災害與文明、人類社會如何應對環境災害);以及四,社會永續議題研析(全球暖化、企業與環境、有毒物質汙染、海洋漁業資源耗竭)。 【Course content】 In recent years, environmental issues have always been the focus of much attention. To deal with environmental issues, in addition to starting from the perspective of natural science, social science is also an aspect that cannot be ignored. The natural environment is closely related to human society, and environmental problems pose a threat to human society. In human society, governments, environmental groups, international organizations, enterprises and other actors have also developed many countermeasures in response to environmental problems. This course starts from the perspective of "Environmental Politics" and uses Anthony Giddens's "The Politics of Climate Change" as the main axis to guide students to understand the relationship between the natural environment and human society. relationships, thereby cultivating abilities such as "tolerance of differences", "integration of thinking" and "respect for nature". The content of this course is divided into four themes: 1. The connotation and important concepts of environmental politics; 2. Environmentalism, environmental justice and the United Nations sustainable development goals; 3. Environmental sustainability and human society (environmental disasters and civilization, human society How to respond to environmental disasters); and 4. Research and analysis of social sustainability issues (global warming, enterprises and the environment, toxic pollution, depletion of marine fishery resources).

Teachers teach with self-compiled lecture notes and slides, and will open time to speak to students taking the course during the course.
