本課程以幾部近年來具代表性的台灣電影，透過這些影像，來認識過去半世紀的台灣社會與文化脈動。這些影像作品，有的體現新一代台灣電影的關懷與視野，有的回應了當前台灣正在成形的文化處境，有的回顧歷史，有的則剖析社會問題，他們以各自獨有的方式，在對我們生活其中而稱之為台灣的這個世界進行對話。本課程期許從這些電影與相關閱讀，對台灣社會有具體的認識與反省。本課程更鼓勵學生從中領略悠遊電影、歷史、政治、社會、性別等不同學科的跨領域學習過程。This course uses several representative Taiwanese films in recent years to understand the social and cultural pulse of Taiwan in the past half century through these images. Some of these video works reflect the care and vision of the new generation of Taiwanese films, some respond to the current cultural situation that is taking shape in Taiwan, some review history, and some analyze social issues. They use their own unique ways to deal with the situation. To have a dialogue with the world we live in and call Taiwan. This course hopes to gain a specific understanding and reflection on Taiwanese society from these movies and related readings. This course also encourages students to appreciate the interdisciplinary learning process of film, history, politics, society, gender and other different subjects.
