The main goals of this course are to:
1. Introduce students to the concepts of water and food security.
2. Develop students’ knowledge and understanding of the complex issues surrounding water quantity and quality.
3. Enhance students’ understanding of the processes and conditions needed for the safe, secure, and sustainable management of water and land resources.
4. Introduce students to water and soil conservation, as well as sustainable and regenerative agriculture concepts.
5. Provide students with an overview of water and food security in the context of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
