此課程對工業材料的生產製造提供詳細的介紹，課程的目的在使學生熟悉當代工業材料的製造方法及程序，讓學生獲取充份的材料及部品製造程序相關知識基礎，進而研究更專門的製造程序、材料及組織架構以運用在未來產品設計上，課程主要目標是幫助學生學習及了解各種設計材料的生產製造方法,程序及其應用，以提升學生產品設計能力。本課程將分別針對金屬、塑膠、陶瓷、玻璃及複合材料的生產製造程序做介紹，課堂上除實際教材講授外，會以適當的產品及部件說明實際設計材料及部品的製造方法及程序，以進一步提升學生產品設計的能力。

This course provides a detailed introduction to the production and manufacturing of industrial materials. The purpose of the course is to familiarize students with the manufacturing methods and procedures of industrial materials, so that students can obtain sufficient knowledge bases related to the manufacturing procedures of materials and parts, and then study more specialized manufacturing procedures, materials and organizational structures for use in future product design. The main purpose of the course is to help students learn and understand the production and manufacturing methods, procedures and applications of various design materials, so as to improve the product design capabilities. This course will introduce the production and manufacturing procedures of metal, plastic, ceramic, glass and composite materials separately. In addition to teaching actual textbooks, the manufacturing methods and procedures of actual design materials and parts will be explained with appropriate products and components to further improve the ability of students to design products.
