Through the course, students acquire knowledge, techniques, and methods related to human factors engineering, and then apply them to product design to make products user-friendly and accessible. This course includes human factors engineering concepts, information input and processing, sensory perception, Human-machine interface, and human factors engineering applied to product design and other related contents.
Human factors engineering is centered on "people", understanding people's abilities and limitations, as well as the interactions and interactions between people and machines, and the environment, so that the designed machines and environmental systems can suit people's physiological and psychological characteristics to achieve production efficiency. and a science that improves efficiency, safety, health and comfort when using products. This course will introduce human physical and mental abilities and limitations, and their principles as they apply to industrial and consumer products. The course will enable students to acquire human factors engineering-related knowledge, techniques, and methods through lectures and group discussions, and then apply them to product design.
