This course aims to learn basic photography knowledge and application skills, learn how to use cameras and studio photography, develop photography observation and visual beauty, and cultivate the ability to observe emotions and create atmosphere, practice various photography themes, and allow students to They can all take good and creative photography.
In the digital age, everyone has a mobile phone and an instant camera, making image creation simpler, faster and more convenient. The WYSIWYG image creation method has lowered the threshold of art and made photography almost a daily life of modern people. Therefore, The image creation in this course is mainly based on mobile phone photography, but the basics are still taught first Photography principles and concepts such as: aperture, shutter, ISO value, and then enter the application content such as color temperature, light observation, composition, shooting subject, theme photography that can be applied to mobile phone cameras, and timely paired with classroom work examples and professional photographer lectures , practical outdoor shooting course practice, understanding and learning photography from multiple perspectives. The later part of the course is planned to move into more specialized commercial photography, teaching how to set up studio lights, lighting techniques and practical shooting exercises, allowing students to get started with basic commercial photography.
Photography is a manifestation of the art of life. Photography is both craft and art. The process is to train students to use various photographic equipment and equipment, combined with appropriate light and shadow control, to obtain the best images. Art is about cultivating the ability to "see", how to see things, how to observe things, how to turn what you see into the best image presentation, and at the same time, you can also use the beautiful images you see as your own appreciation and spiritual resonance. , this is one of the qualities a designer should have.
With today's technological advancement, photography is no longer just a skill that can be accomplished by professionals using professional equipment. Everyone in society has a camera phone. Regardless of whether you have learned photography or not, as long as you press the shutter button, you can take a clear and beautiful photo. Well-exposed photos, but photography, understand People take pictures, not cameras. This course teaches students to understand the meaning of aperture control, the timing of shutter use, and the choice of lens length, so as to decide how to think and capture images according to their own judgment, rather than just blindly. According to the design of the camera, photos are taken.
Different from traditional film photography, you need to learn the techniques of film development and exposure (developing films, developing photos), and this course mainly uses digital photography. Digital is mainly based on computer image processing design and output, but regardless of Digital or traditional photography, image capture The principle is the same, but the difference is in the recording method and the post-production expression method. In addition to the teaching method, this course also includes learning about the understanding and application of the camera (how to take good photos), and lighting techniques (scene light, studio lighting). ), and also cooperate with studio photography internship.
There is no written examination in this course. The class assignments are based on the photos taken and output by the students themselves, including teacher scores and student peer reviews. The goal of the final assignment is to complete a photography portfolio of one's own.
The teaching goal of this course is positioned at basic photography, focusing on the proficient operation and application of the camera, understanding the relationship between aperture and depth of field, shutter and exposure control, product photography skills and lighting methods, and photographic composition design, etc.
