完成二年級的建築設計課程後, 學生掌握了建築基本設計原理與工作方法。三年級的設計課程會深入探討三個主要議題:
1) 城市 (Urban )
建築師的工作離不開都市的探索與關注。設計題目圍繞都市課題展開, 通過基地考察與分析,去重新思考建築與環境之間的關係。
2) 功能(Programming )
功能是建築空間重要的組織部分,內在的佈局與動線直接影響建築空間。如何設定配置內容與大小比例是建築師需要思考的重點。
3) 建構(Tectonics )
建構是建築空間與結構之間的內在關係, 學生需要認識兩者如何在設計過程中交互影響。After completing the second-year architectural design course, students have mastered the basic design principles and working methods of architecture. The third-year design course explores three main topics in depth:
1) Urban
The work of architects is inseparable from urban exploration and attention. The design topic revolves around urban issues, and through site inspection and analysis, we rethink the relationship between architecture and the environment.
2) Function (Programming)
Function is an important organizational part of the architectural space, and the internal layout and movement lines directly affect the architectural space. How to set the configuration content and size ratio is the key point that architects need to think about.
3) Tectonics
Construction is the intrinsic relationship between architectural space and structure, and students need to understand how the two interact in the design process.
在經過二年級設計課的教育後,學生應該已經熟悉基本尺寸與尺度的設計,以及對於空間內容(program)之組織和基地條件考慮的初步之練習。
在三年級的設計課程中我們強調更深入的整合性的練習,這些練習應能包含一些基本的建築專業議題,例如:
1. 對於基地涵構的整合觀念(與建築或都市系統的整合)。
2. 合理的空間動線和序列的安排(包含內部與外部)。
3. 複合性program的組織方式(包含: 垂直和水平的)。
4. 不同功能整合時的公共與私密性考量(邊界的議題)、
5. 室內、外邊界界定(立面設計與牆剖面觀念的議題)
6. 以及更重要的建築tectonic- 構造與結構與這些概念如何產生相輔相成的結果。
After receiving education in the second-year design class, students should already be familiar with the design of basic dimensions and scales, as well as preliminary exercises on the organization of spatial content (program) and consideration of site conditions.
In the third-year design courses we emphasize more in-depth integrated exercises that cover some basic architectural professional topics, such as:
1. An integrated concept of site structure (integration with architecture or urban systems).
2. Reasonable arrangement of spatial movement lines and sequences (including internal and external).
3. How the complex program is organized (including: vertical and horizontal).
4. Public and private considerations when integrating different functions (border issues),
5. Definition of indoor and outdoor boundaries (issues on facade design and wall section concepts)
6. And more importantly architectural tectonic- tectonics and structure and how these concepts produce complementary results.
