課程首先將藉由哲學與藝術理論相關概念思考建築與敘事的關係。接著將從繪畫、漫畫、電影等不同藝術類型的基礎理論與文本分析，探討不同媒介對於空間、時間與事物秩序的思想表現。對面這些差異，同時也必須思考不同媒介的敘事架構與技術背後所蘊含的思想條件與限制，這些圖像關係的探討將作為建築敘事方法的思想參照。
本課程主要進行方式是對於文本的閱讀分析，透過書寫與圖像回應不同文本所面對的課題。同時也將配合大一建築設計課程進度，深化設計過程的思想整合。

Many thought conversions have occurred from images and language to actual architectural spaces. This course will explore how to integrate methods of expressing ideas from a matter-of-fact perspective. Things can be understood as the form of expressing the order of things through space and time, and it is also a structural method for combining various parts into a whole. If architecture is an expression of ideas, it involves the problem of how to make things happen.

Many thought conversions have occurred from images and language to actual architectural spaces. This course will explore how to integrate methods of expressing ideas from a matter-of-fact perspective. Things can be understood as the form of expressing the order of things through space and time, and it is also a structural method for combining various parts into a whole. If architecture is an expression of ideas, it involves the problem of how to make things happen.
The course will first consider the relationship between architecture and affairs through philosophy and art discussions. Then, we will explore the ideological expressions of different media on space, time and order of things from the basic theories and text analysis of different art types such as paintings, comics, and movies. In contrast, these differences must also be considered the ideological conditions and limitations behind the factual structures and technologies of different media. These explorations of image relationships will be used as ideological references to architectural practice methods.
This course is mainly conducted by reading and analyzing texts, and responding to the topics faced by different texts through writing and images. At the same time, we will also cooperate with the progress of the freshman building design course to deepen the ideological integration of the design process.
