本課程將以探討及分析西洋打擊樂的經典作品為主, 在一學期的課程中,前半學期著重於擊樂室內樂的沿革，後半學期則將探討綜合打擊樂曲、木琴獨奏曲、及協奏曲的發展, 除西方作品之外, 東方作曲家之西洋打擊樂曲亦在本課程討論之範疇。
此課程目標為以活潑生動的方式, 讓學生對近代經典的獨奏與室內樂之擊樂作品有全盤的認知, 並使其具備分析打擊樂作品及賞聆的能力,進而培養對新創作之擊樂曲目的追求及熱情。 This course will focus on exploring and analyzing classic works of Western striking music.
