本課程為大學部之必修課程，講授時間為一學期。
中國音樂文化是東亞地區非常重要且影響深遠的音樂文化，與台灣的傳統音樂也有十分密切的關係。藉由課程講授，使同學認識中國音樂此一重要的音樂文化遺產，對於歷史上各時期重要的曲種及其特色有基本的認識，了解中國古代音樂與文學的密切關聯、中國音樂在表現手法和風格上的特色，以及中國古代音樂演出和傳承的生態。透過實際音樂範例的解說和聆賞，使同學領略中國音樂的審美觀，培養更多元寬廣的音樂欣賞能力及視野。課程中所包含的近代中國音樂的新發展部分，希望能夠引起同學對自身的音樂文化和未來走向進行反省和思考。此外，課程中將介紹以中國音樂和戲曲為素材之電影或電視劇配樂和流行歌曲，希望引起同學的想像力，也可做為未來自身從事各類形式創作的材料。This course is a compulsory course in the university department, and the lecture time is one session.
Chinese music culture is a very important and profound music culture in the East Asia region, and is also closely related to Taiwan's traditional music. Through course teaching, students can understand Chinese music, an important music cultural heritage, have a basic understanding of the important musical and characteristics of various periods in history, understand the close relationship between ancient Chinese music and literature, and the expression techniques of Chinese music. The characteristics of the style, as well as the ethics of ancient Chinese music performances and inheritance. Through the interpretation and listening of practical music examples, students can appreciate the aesthetics of Chinese music and cultivate more diverse music appreciation abilities and vision. The new development part of modern Chinese music included in the course is hoped to induce classmates to reflect and think about their own music culture and future direction. In addition, movies or TV dramas with Chinese music and dramas as materials will be introduced during the course, hoping to arouse the imagination of classmates, and can also be used as materials for their creations in various forms in the future.
