本課程是「社區組織與社區發展」之進階課程，旨在培養學生進入社區實作的專業能力。
（一）課程目標
1.以實地進入社區，進行參與觀察、體驗學習及發現需求的教學方式，使學生瞭解社區工作概念與理論之應用與實踐，並充分地認識與體會社區工作實踐之過程。
2.以「大學生參與社區」的社會實踐方式，設計簡易方案，協助社區改變，營造適合社區居民生活的家園。
（二）課程內涵
具體包括社區工作的基本概念、社區工作的程序、社區工作者的角色與知識基礎、社區工作的模式與技術及專業社區工作的未來發展 This course is an advanced course of "Community Organization and Community Development" and aims to cultivate students' professional ability to enter community work.
