本課程為一學年的課程，第一學期旨在幫助學生瞭解社會團體工作的基本理論和實踐，提供體驗團體工作的機會並擬定團體計畫書;第二學期針對團體帶領技巧及多元族群團體議題做進一步認識與操作。第一學期課程內容包括以下方面：社會團體工作的歷史發展和目標、基本理論和模式、實踐技巧和方法、不同類型的社會團體工作、影響團體運作的元素，例如團體動力、領導角色和技能、成員評估和需求、團體過程等。組織團體工作的方法，例如撰寫團體計畫書、評估團體工作、執行團體工作等以及團體工作中的倫理議題和挑戰。
This course is a one-year course. The first semester is designed to help students understand the basic theories and practices of social group work, provide opportunities to experience group work and formulate group plans; the second semester focuses on group leadership skills and multi-ethnic group issues. For further understanding and operation. The first semester course content includes the following aspects: historical development and goals of social group work, basic theories and models, practical skills and methods, different types of social group work, elements that influence group functioning, such as group dynamics, leadership roles and skills, Member assessment and needs, group processes, etc. Methods of organizing group work, such as writing group plans, evaluating group work, executing group work, etc., as well as ethical issues and challenges in group work.
社會團體工作是社會工作的三大方法之一，從一開始立基於社區，以團體的方式解決或改善社區成員社交、經濟或個人的共同困擾，如今團體工作已有更多元的發展，本課程訓練為期一年，將訓練學生達成如下目標：

Social group work is one of the three major methods of social work. From the beginning, it was based on the community and used a group approach to solve or improve the common social, economic or personal problems of community members. Nowadays, group work has developed in a more diversified way. The course training lasts for one year and will train students to achieve the following goals:
1. Understand the history and work goals of social group work
2. Introduce commonly used types of social group work
