本課程為一學年的課程，第一學期旨在幫助學生瞭解社會團體工作的基本理論和實踐，提供體驗團體工作的機會並擬定團體計畫書;第二學期針對團體帶領技巧及多元族群團體議題做進一步認識與操作。第一學期課程內容包括以下方面：社會團體工作的歷史發展和目標、基本理論和模式、實踐技巧和方法、不同類型的社會團體工作、影響團體運作的元素，例如團體動力、領導角色和技能、成員評估和需求、團體過程等。組織團體工作的方法，例如撰寫團體計畫書、評估團體工作、執行團體工作等以及團體工作中的倫理議題和挑戰。
This course is a course of one year. Social group work is one of the three major methods of social work.
