The road to hell is often paved with good intentions! Why are good intentions unhelpful? Why do well-intentioned policies end up causing greater damage or unexpected side effects? The answer is a lack of systems thinking. In Peter Senge’s book The Fifth Discipline, systems thinking is the core discipline of the Fifth Discipline. This course hopes to lead students to break through the inertia of linear thinking, enter the world of systems thinking, understand the structure and behavior of systems, understand the eight models of systems thinking (system archetypes), and master the key to solving problems.
