本課程設計是介紹數位市場與網路產業的本質為主,讓學生瞭解網路產業與傳統產業的異同,探討網路產業中廠商經營模式、策略行為和政府政策,如何相互影響整個產業或市場結構的變化。學生透過本課程的學習,學生不但能夠運用經濟學的研究方法,來剖析網路產業的廠商競爭與消費者行為,也能夠藉由文獻閱讀、資料收集、分組討論,強化學生撰寫報告與簡報的能力。課程主題內容將涵蓋網路商品的訂價、雙邊市場與平台競爭、電信市場與管制、互聯網經濟等議題。
在完成此課程的學習,學生將能夠
(1) 對於網路經濟相關產業有基本的概念;
(2) 運用經濟學的理論,來探討消費者、廠商與政府在網路產業中的互動及影響;
(3) 具備資料收集的能力,並運用計量模型進行分析;
