From classical schools to modern trade theories, students will gain an in-depth understanding of various trade models, trade policy tools, and the development trends of international economic cooperation. Through the study of this course, students will be able to gain a basic understanding of international trade-related issues and be able to analyze and evaluate the impact of different trade policies on the economy. In addition to introducing the development from classical schools to modern trade theory, including comparative advantage theory, neoclassical trade theory, etc. Students will learn about the effects of different trade models, trade policy instruments, and cross-border factor movements. The course also covers the impact of trade policy on the economy and arguments for interventionist trade policy, as well as the forms and development trends of international economic cooperation. Through theoretical and case analysis, students will be able to evaluate the impact of different trade policies on the national economy and the global economy, and have the ability to analyze and solve practical trade problems.
利用國際貿易理論分析貿易發生的原因，貿易發生後對一個國家的價格、生產因素的提供者、生產者、消費者、整體的福利會造成什麼樣的影響。同時也會討論對進口產品課徵進口關稅對對一個國家（貿易小國及大國）的價格、生產因素的提供者、生產者、消費者、整體的福利所造成的影響。不完全競爭之假設下的理論也將討論，並加入政府補貼在不完全競爭下對各廠商及出口國福利的影響。最後、介紹各全球性及區域性國際貿易組織，使學生能瞭解各組織之發展歷史、組織架構、組織精神、現況等相關事項。
Use international trade theory to analyze the reasons why trade occurs, and what impact trade will have on a country's prices, providers of production factors, producers, consumers, and overall welfare. At the same time, we will also discuss the impact of imposing import tariffs on imported products on prices, suppliers of production factors, producers, consumers, and overall welfare of a country (small trading countries and large countries). The theory under the assumption of imperfect competition will also be discussed, and the impact of government subsidies on the welfare of manufacturers and exporting countries under imperfect competition will be added. Finally, various global and regional international trade organizations are introduced so that students can understand the development history, organizational structure, organizational spirit, current status and other related matters of each organization.
