在商業競爭愈發激烈的現今，以往強調品質、服務等競爭手段已不敷使用。尤其在高科技產業中，企業的創新知識方為其主要競爭核心，使得知識財產權在企業中的重要程度也愈來愈高，企業也更為積極取得相關智慧財產權，導致企業中對於智慧財產權的管理愈發重要。授課教師為經高考合格的專利師(Patent attorney)，從事專利、商標的申請、救濟、訴訟業務已有20餘年，本課程將帶領同學，由實務的角度，探索各類智慧財產權，例如：專利權、商標權、著作權、營業秘密與積體電路布局，的涵義以及其於企業中的運作狀況。
