After understanding the basic knowledge background of ecology, learn how to use relevant intellectual theory basics to apply in environmental impact assessment. The environmental impact assessment is one of the important courses in environmental science theory combining the impact of ecology on ecological systems. It applies these theoretical knowledge to practice, evaluate the potential impact of development behavior on the environment, and proposes measures to reduce or avoid adverse effects.
This course will provide an in-depth introduction to the environmental impact assessment work, and focus on the key details of the collection of ecological data around the development base, especially on animal ecological surveys. We will explore the rules and standards that animal ecological surveys should follow during the course to ensure the scientificity and reliability of the survey process. At the same time, the course will provide detailed introduction to various animal ecological survey methods, such as online survey, capture and placement, remote testing techniques, etc., so that students can understand the applicable scope and operation steps of different methods. In addition, we will combine practical cases with field operations to share practical experience in animal ecological surveys, and help students transform theoretical knowledge into practical abilities.
