學生利用寒暑假時間到教師研究室從事專題研究，學習實驗技術、資料數據處理彙整及實驗成果撰寫。訓練學生就專業領域收集文獻、歸納整理、口頭報告及討論之能力。Students use their winter and summer vacations to engage in special research in the teacher's laboratory, learning experimental techniques, data processing and collection, and writing of experimental results. Train students' ability to collect documents, summarize and organize, give oral reports and discuss in professional fields.
因研究領域不同而有差異，由各指導教授規定參考書籍、期刊及其他資料。
Reference books, journals and other materials vary depending on the research field, and are prescribed by each supervisor.
