教育目標 Course Target

課程目標: 1.本課程著重於培養同學們透析世界歷史發展趨勢與特質的能力,祈能建立一套解釋歷史觀來建構歷史脈絡,並評估世界歷史於未來的走向。 2. 希望能引導同學了解世界文明發展過程,並思考其歷史的演變,以「大歷史」的宏觀角度來看歷史,從而培養宏大的世界觀。 3. 訓練同學們獨立思考的能力、培養對人文世界的關懷,以建立理性與感性兼備之獨立人格。 4. 通過跨歷史、跨文化與跨社會的方法為背景來為學生闡述世界歷史的形成。 5. 透過引導誘發同學們批判性思考的能力,以及對歷史文化問題探索的興趣,從中學習如何發現問題、解決問題。 課程內涵: 1.「世界」從個別地區、國家、文明的局部發展,到今天全球各地互相的連結、交往,這一切均有其物質、政經、思潮,以及社會、文化的脈絡。本課程透過人類文明起源到中世紀晚期世界的形成、變遷與發展的進程加以探討,希冀培育學生瞭解探討此世界發展的主要脈絡。 2.課程進行方式將以人類文明起源到中世紀晚期之世界史基礎知識與中英文相關文章的導讀、討論為主軸,輔以多媒體教學與隨堂討論、測驗和心得報告撰寫。期許同學詳讀指定閱讀資料、並搜尋相關輔助背景知識,建立組織與批判能力,同學間亦能適時於課堂討論中互相砥礪、激發思考,以對世界史知識有更深的瞭解與掌握。Course Target: 1. This course focuses on cultivating students' ability to analyze the trends and characteristics of world history, and strive to establish a set of historical perspectives to construct historical structures, and evaluate the direction of world history in the future. 2. I hope to guide my classmates to understand the development process of world civilization, think about the evolution of its history, and look at history from the perspective of "great history" to cultivate a grand world view. 3. Training students' ability to think independently and cultivate their concern for the human world to establish an independent personality that is both rational and sensible. 4. Use cross-history, cross-cultural and cross-social approaches to describe the formation of world history for students. 5. Learn how to find and solve problems by guiding students' ability to think critically and interest in exploring historical and cultural issues. Course content: 1. The "world" has gone from the local development of different regions, countries, and civilizations to the connections and interactions between the world today. All of this has its own material, political affairs, thoughts, and social and cultural connections. This course explores the process of the formation, transformation and development of the origin of human civilization to the late medieval world, hoping to cultivate students to understand and explore the main elements of world development. 2. The course is carried out mainly on the guidance and discussion of knowledge and Chinese-English related articles based on the origin of human civilization to the late medieval world history, and is written based on multimedia teaching and discussion, experience and experience reports. Please read the designated reading data in detail, search for related background knowledge, and establish organizational and critical abilities. Students can also help each other and inspire thinking in class discussions to have a deeper understanding and mastery of world history knowledge.
