本科屬中文系大一中文的一門課程，授課對象為中文程度需要加強的僑生或外籍生。內容首先觀察學生自我介紹的表現，了解其聽講和書寫的程度。其次以現代文學的散文及短篇小說的導讀，作為前期的主要教材，而以學生講述中國文學故事的內容為輔助教材，除了補充相關的國學或文化常識外，並安排問題討論，以其增進學生思考和表達的能力。後期教材以古典詩詞和現代詩為主，輔以學生的分組戲劇表演。而學生每週撰寫的閱讀心得寫作，則視狀況於課中作示範性討論。本課程的教學目標，重在以循序漸進的方式增進學生聽說讀寫的能力，並培養學生對於文學作品的鑑賞能力。除了在兼具古典與現代的文學導讀中，側重文本的詮釋與相關的主題討論，並透過學生演說中國文學故事和戲劇演出的過程，訓練學生表達的能力並擴充教材的多元性，進而啟發學生閱讀的興趣。

A course in the Chinese department of undergraduate degree, the subjects are students or foreign students who need to be strong in Chinese. Content first observes the students' self-introduction performance and understands the degree of their listening and writing. Secondly, the introduction of essays and short stories in modern literature is used as the main textbook in the early stage, and the content of students' stories about Chinese literature is used as an auxiliary textbook. In addition to supplementing relevant national or cultural common sense, question discussions are arranged to improve students' thinking and expression skills. The later textbooks are mainly classical lyrics and modern lyrics, and are based on students' group plays. The reading experience written by students every week is discussed in a contextual manner in the course. The teaching objectives of this course focus on improving students' listening and reading skills in a sequential way, and cultivating students' ability to comprehend literature works. In addition to the literature guidance that combines classical and modern literature, the side emphasizes the discussion of text and related topics, and through the process of students' speeches on Chinese literature stories and drama performances, the students' ability to express themselves and expand the diversity of textbooks, thereby creating students' interest in reading.
