本學期的課程以敘事文學與影像文學為主要內容，從明清小說的概論開始，探討「小說」作為一種近代文體，它的古典與現代意義為何。乃至近現代小說，以魯迅、沈從文、蕭紅等人，探索民初現代小說的複雜樣貌，以及古典中國和現代西方的交匯影響。台灣近現代小說部分，則從戰後開始，閱讀白先勇、王文興、七等生、黃春明等人的作品。The course of this school is mainly based on ritual literature and image literature. Starting from the overview of novels in the Ming and Qing dynasties, it explores the classical and modern meanings of "novel" as a modern literature. Even modern novels, Lu Xun, Shen Ziwen, and Xun, explore the complex appearance of modern novels in the early Republic of China and the intertwined influence of classical China and modern West. The modern novel in Taiwan begins after the war and reads the works of Bai Xianyong, Wang Wenxing, Qisheng, Huang Chunming and others.
