東海大學中國文學系結合傳統文學與AI生成技術，探索文學與空間的交織之美，以「多媒體，超文本，解密路思義教堂」為主題開設微課程，場域設定於東海大學的「路思義教堂」。教堂是美國《時代雜誌》、《生活雜誌》的創辦人路思義先生（Mr. Henry R. Luce）為了宣揚福音並紀念父親路思義牧師而興建，是校內最重要的建築。教堂神聖與莊嚴的氣氛，並不依賴任何支配校園的軸線或區域來表達。教堂位於整個學校的中心，當人們需要時，仰望即可看見教堂頂端的十字架。為了採光及明確表現結構，教堂的四片曲面彼此完全分離，類似倒置船底，教堂的形狀給人一種穩定的感覺，在對抗風力與地震時，亦非常有力。屋脊部份分開，以玻璃作成天窗，象徵著「一線天」的意涵。側面邊窗逸入的光線，給教堂添增了一份神秘感。為使前後曲面交會於屋脊部份之結構易於處理起見，於是後部二曲面高於前部，呈重疊狀，後部高出之部份亦恰為內部聖壇之位置，外觀適足以表彰其內部的重要性。
本課程的緣起在於傳統文學在現代社會中新角色的探索，在AI高速發展的時代，文學不能僅侷限於紙本文字，而需要透過多媒體、超文本等形式呈現，才能為文字賦予新的生命。去年（2023），東海大學中國文學系開設「多媒體，超文本與東海的空間詩學」的微學分課程，利用多媒體技術讓學生創作出超越傳統文本限制的作品，並將這些作品與東海大學的空間美學結合，開展出一種全新的空間詩學體驗。本次課程將延續先前的成功經驗，並且更新課程內容，將課程重心聚焦於培養學生獨立使用AI生成文本的能力。
在本次課程中，學生可以深入學習超文本理論、探索傳統文學與多媒體的交互作用，並實際運用AI工具、進階ChatGPT，以及視覺小說創作工具，繪製出屬於自己的視覺小說文本，讓學生能自行產出圖文並茂、圖文相輔的作品。再讓學生掌握這些技術後，再將這些作品與「路思義教堂」的空間美學結合，讓傳統與現代、人文與科技雙雙碰撞出新的火花。藉由本次課程，學生不僅能學習到文學與多媒體的結合技巧，更能體驗到傳統文學在科技洪流中的新道路與新發展性，並對路思義教堂有更深一層的瞭解與感悟，進而更加欣賞與認同東海大學這片充滿文學與藝術氣息的土地。

The Department of Chinese Literature at Tunghai University combines traditional literature and AI generation technology to explore the intertwined beauty of literature and space. It offers micro courses with the theme of "Multimedia, Hypertext, Decrypting the Luce Church". The venue is set at Tunghai University's "Lucy Church". Righteous Church". It is the most important building on campus. The sacred and solemn atmosphere of the church is not expressed in any axis or area that dominates the campus. In order to capture light and express the structure clearly, the four curved surfaces of the church are completely separated from each other, similar to the bottom of an inverted ship.
