教學主旨: 建築是門複雜的學問,其中不但整合了各種技術性與概念性的知識並且同時又著重在開創性設計想法的研發;為了驗收建築研究所三年專業養成教育的成果,藉由畢業論文設計在最後階段完成一清楚的設計發展過程與完整的設計論述便是驗證所學的一項重要依據。
本課程的設立就是為了幫助同學在前階段有一較為順暢且有計畫進行的準備過程。由於論文設計是由每位同學自己設定題目與建築議題,於是在面對題目的多樣性的同時,如何引導同學選定自己感興趣而又適合自己的題目方向,經過適當且有組織的資料搜尋與研究進而確認題目與其涵蓋的建築議題範疇將是本課程的主要重點。
教學目標: 由一系列討論、操作、檢討與座談中,帶領同學了解與尋找到自己創作的興趣與所關注的議題方向;同時,在適度幫助同學有效的控制進度之餘,藉由工作方法與設計重點的提示,讓每位同學知道如何適當的發揮這三年中所接受的建築專業課程訓練之成果,進而在畢業論文設計進行的同時對於操作的建築議題與設計重點有一較為清楚的認知。
課程內容: 本課程將大致分成七階段以配合上下學期的進度,而內容將大致包含﹝題目類型解析;資料蒐集歸納;實際操作與討論;階段性檢討;座談討論﹞幾種步驟。
