這是一門為藝術創作的研究生所特別規劃的課程,主要目的是讓研究所的訓練不囿限於探討創作品質與方法,也同時兼顧學生在台灣社會作為一個創作者,學習如何有效地規劃與經營自己未來的專業職涯,和如何跨入商業畫廊的第一步。。對策評組的選課生,則作為一種對藝術生態與機制的了解,以及對創作者的生產模式有所熟悉,以強化中介角色的職能。
藝術職場實務(一):認識台灣當代藝術生態和市場運作特性與機制、創作和市場的關連與自我定位、如何對專業生涯展開中長期之規畫。
藝術職場實務(二):如何在技術面準備好自身的職涯資訊,認識相關的法規、尋找資源的策略等,以強化學生創作和藝術策畫行業之就業態度、和技術能力。
本課程需要邀請藝術界各類型的專業人士來校談論藝術家的生存法則,例如策展人、藝術家、商業畫廊經營者、政府或基金會承辦人等,以及校外參訪的安排,期能培養修課同學跨越到職場的專業能力。
藝術職場實務(一)的課程內涵包括:認識台灣當代藝術生態、第一與第二市場的運作機制、創作的自我定位和定價準則;透過閱讀或參訪,認識當代藝術家的職涯典範和另類選擇。
藝術職場實務(二)的課程內涵包括:藝術創作者相關的著作權法規、如何尋找資源和撰寫補助申請計畫書(國藝會、國內外駐村計畫)、如何準備好自身的簡經歷、作品集、專業倫理與團隊合作、公共藝術等另類職涯的能力補充。This is a specially designed course for graduate students in art creation. Art Workplace Practice (1): Understand the characteristics and mechanisms of Taiwan’s contemporary art ecology and market operations, the relationship between creation and the market, and self-positioning, and how to plan for mid- to long-term professional careers.
Art Workplace Practice (2): How to prepare your own career information technically, understand relevant regulations, strategies for finding resources, etc., to strengthen students’ employment attitudes and technical abilities in the creative and art planning industries.
This course requires inviting various types of professionals in the art world to come to school to talk about the survival rules of artists, such as curators, artists, commercial gallery operators, government or foundation organizers, etc., as well as arrangements for off-campus visits, hoping to cultivate students This class provides students with the professional abilities to transition into the workplace.
The content of the Art Workplace Practice (1) course includes: understanding Taiwan’s contemporary art ecology, the operating mechanisms of the primary and secondary markets, self-positioning of creations and pricing principles; through reading or visiting, understanding the career models and alternatives of contemporary artists select.
The course content of Art Workplace Practice (2) includes: copyright laws and regulations related to art creators, how to find resources and write subsidy application proposals (National Art Association, domestic and foreign residency programs), how to prepare your own brief experience, Supplementary capabilities for alternative careers such as portfolio, professional ethics and teamwork, and public art.
