本課程為培育中等教育生命教育、樂齡教育教師,以及對生死議題研究有興趣大學部高年級學生,所開授之授探討生命與死亡教育議題的課程。課程的目的在引導學生從生理、心理、社會與靈性四個面向,探討生命的發生、成長、老化與死亡的的過程,特別將焦點放置在老化與死亡的相關議題,一方面,讓修課同學能從不同的面相了解生命的過程與死亡,也讓同學有機會反思如何活出有意義與精彩的生命;另一方面,學習有效的規劃正式或潛在的生死領域課程,協助學生從認識生命與死亡議題中體悟生命的意義。
課程的設計從瞭解生命的起始、成長與老化議題為切入點,探討生命過程中如何面對死亡相關的議題,並透過生死終極關懷來思索、省察生命的意義,以增進未來教師(修課學生)開授生死教育的知能。課程的設計將規劃為三大區塊:第一個區塊為對生命與死亡過程現象的瞭解;第二個區塊為面對老化與死亡相關議題的探討,包括老年健康促進的議題;第三個區塊為生命終末的關懷與死亡教育教案的研發。This course is to cultivate teachers of life and aging education in secondary education, as well as senior students from the University Department of Interested in the research of life and death issues. The courses taught by them to explore the questions of life and death education issues. The purpose of the course is to guide students to explore the process of life's occurrence, growth, aging and death from four aspects: physiology, psychology, society and spirit. They specifically place the focus on the related topics of aging and death. On the one hand, it allows students to understand the process and death of life from different aspects, and also gives students the opportunity to reflect on how to live a meaningful and wonderful life; on the other hand, learn effective planning formal or potential life-and-death courses to help students understand the meaning of life from the topic of understanding life and death.
The course design starts with understanding the question of the beginning, growth and aging of life, explores how to face the questions related to death in the life process, and thinks and examines the meaning of life through the extreme concern of life and death, so as to enhance the knowledge of future teachers (students) in teaching life and death education. The course design will be planned into three major areas: the first area is an understanding of the phenomena of life and death; the second area is an exploration of the issues related to aging and death, including the questions about promoting health for the elderly; and the third area is the research and development of lesson plans for the end of life and death.
